then,when we must use remote acess?
to most applications,which are web applications,jsp/servlet/ejb can be in the same JVM,
and can be clustered to mutiple server,if all the servers
in the cluster are identical,I think no need with remote
access,am I right?

More precisely, I should say 'they' don't allow us to think so.
Just try : in a jsp, get a Local Home interface from JNDI, you may encounter exception.
jsp can invoke ejb via local interface
