Dear All ,
SessionContext and EntityContext does not implement java.io.Serializable . After ejbPassivate() how container
serialize the references . Does it follow and logic apart from java Serialization ?
Thanks in advance
The container must be able to store and restore the context objects during passivation. How it achieves this is not specified. The context objects generally don't hold any state of their own - they merely give an interface to certain parts of the system. So its quite possible that the container won't even save the context object: it will just create a new one each time. But again, EJB doesn't mandate any specific approach.
