XML & Web services: Asynchronous Web Service in java

  1. Asynchronous Web Service in java (3 messages)

Can I create an Asynchronous Web Service in Java that is interoperable with an identical one created in .NET and using 'AsyncCallback' as a callback? Is it even possible to replicate this functionality in Java? I am using Apache Soap for web services, but can't any references to that. Can someone point me in the right direction.
    Thanks.
  2. Alex,
Could you please provide a scenario of what you are trying to achieve? Are you trying to invoke a service with the hope that the service will call you back when it is done? How do you expect the service to call you back?
    Thanks

  3. I think JBoss.NET can do this...

  4. Apache's implementation of XMLRPC has an async client included that works quite well.
