Web tier: servlets, JSP, Web frameworks: where to find documentation of struts taglib

  1. In the taglib documentation of struts you find links for bean-tags, html-tags, logic-tags and template-tags. but where is a link to struts-tags?
    thanx 4 help.
  2. The struts-tags that you are referring to are in fact the HTML tags, Bean Tags, Logic Tags, Nested, Template, and Tiles. The tag libraries are grouped by the general functionality that they provide. There are no struts-tags. These are them.

You can find the developers guide for the various tag libraries here:

    http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/userGuide/index.html

  3. Are you sure?
when I installed struts it created in the web-inf folder:
    struts.tld
    struts-bean.tld
    struts-form.tld
    struts-html.tld
    struts-logic.tld
    struts-template.tld

If struts.tld contained the rest, I should find all the tags in there. But I don't.

    H.
  4. The struts.tld is deprecated and not actual for struts1.0.2 and higher...
Do you use Struts 1.0 or 0.5 ?
Better you use the struts-bean, struts-logic etc.
