EJB programming & troubleshooting: Storing session remote interface in cookie
This might not be a ideal solution. If anyone has better idea, let me know. The question is that I want to maintain a session using stateful session bean for web user. The remote interface is stored in cookie. But if after a long long time when the session bean expired and is removed, the remote interface becomes invalid. Is there a class to check if the bean instance is still valid give the remote interface? If not, how would someone to handle this?

you can freeze your bean with the help of Handle (using getHandle()) and store it in cookie.
