Hello All,
Can anybody suggest the way to migrate a web application running on weblogic 6.1 to weblogic 7.0. What are the possible hazards in this issue? What are the advantages of this migration? Has anybody done this yet?
Please provide some insight...
Thanks and Regards,
shankar

If your web app is J2EE compliant,it should be easy for you to migrate to WLS 7.0. Make sure that you have all the released patches applied to WLS 7.0 b/c when WLS 7.0 was released initially it had memory leaks and few other bugs in it.
The advantages of going to WLS 7.0
1. Your app will be faster as compared to 6.1
2. You could use latest specs
3. I think the admin console is better in 7.0
