A thread's main message can be noisy, but marking it as such is currently unsupported. Pattern posts that aren't patterns, job offers in the EJB design forum, etc. are all noisy messgaes (at least in my view). I'd like to suggest that TSS support marking them as such just like for the replies in a thread. It would also be nice if threads whose main message is noisy could be seen as such right in the forum page.

I guess this is slightly different to a noisy message. It would be nice to be able to mark the thread itself as noisy (this will be especially useful in the discussion forums) hence allowing people to not see the entire thread in there.
