General J2EE: which server on Red Hat 9.0?

    Hi,
    I would like to learn J2EE platform, but i have Red Hat 9.0 installed and Sun ONE app server doesnt work on it, same as Orace 9iAS. Could u recommend me some which will work on RH9.0? Or should i go back to RH 7.2?

    Hi,
    yeah, I think you should go back to 7.2 or at least 8.0. I have tried installing WebSphere in 8.0 though i still have not succeeded, there is some documentation on IBM site about installing WAS on redhat 8.0.

    please keep me posted if you make a break through.

    You may want to try BEA WebLogic.
    I believe WLS 7 is running on RedHat 7.2
