OXF 2.1 has been released. OXF is an XML-based web development platform built on industry standards (W3C, OASIS, and JCP). It implements the MVC architecture and encourages modular component-based web development. The Model 2X architecture plugs in with JavaServer Faces and/or Stuts, and version 2.1 includes support for the JSR-168 Portlet API.
With this support, OXF applications will be able to become portlets in a painless manner.
In addition to IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, Tomcat, and JBoss, OXF 2.1 adds support for Oracle 9iAS.
