When I use the Administrative console and try to add a EJB,
the console throws up a Dialog box saying that it is
"unable to open the given Jar file".

the problem lies with the fact that some of the .class files are missing from the jar. What I do is I create a deployed jar file for the complete EJB group.then i don't get the error.
