I ran into an open source swing business framework called Atris:

It looks quite interesting to me, but as it almost didn't leave any traces on google groups and none on theserverside, I don't think it is widely used.
Anyway, I downloaded its documentation, there is some excellent documentation in PDFs and also in the API doc.

I liked very much the given concepts, but as I said, there are no references to Atris, so I wonder if anybody here has made experiences with it.
