Hi!
What are the markable differences in Weblogic 5.1 & Weblogic 7. I know that Weblogic 7 supports EJB2.0 & Weblogic 5.1 supports EJB1.1. Besides the differences in EJB2.0 & 1.1 does Weblogic 7 provides some other features such as hot deployment etc?
Thanks
Prakash

Besides the WLS5.1 = J2EE1.2 and WLS7 = J2EE1.3:
. WLS 7 has indeed hot deployment - there are several deployment possibilities;
. WLS 7 has a VERY useful administration console (web);
. WLS 7 topology is very advanced (configuring managed servers and clusters in a domain is incredibly easy - BEA is simply incomparable here);
. WLS 5.1 had no visual tools, no wizards, no JMX....
I believe WLS5.1 is from the pre-Java2 time (I remember running it in a 1.1.x JRE, I think). It is obsolete in many ways.
