News: 1060 NetKernel Standard Edition v1.0 - XML Application Server

  1. 1060 Research are pleased to announce the immediate availability of 1060 NetKernel Standard Edition Dev Kit v1.0.0

NetKernel SE is a Java XML Application Server based on the 1060 NetKernel REST microkernel v2.2.0. SE offers a comprehensive XML processing environment and integrates over 70 XML technologies including two XML runtime systems.

Core XML technologies include: XSLT, XQuery, XML Schema, XSL-FO, XForms,RelaxNG, Schematron, XML Signature, XACML, ... All XML technologies can be combined into pipelined XML processes using the DPML runtime. The XRL pull-runtime provides recursive XML processes.

NetKernel's unique REST-like service architecture allows modular XML applications and processes to be developed behind encapsulated URI interfaces. It features Just-in-time process execution and supports a dependency-based cache which provides significant process optimisations. Transactional XML processes are supported by a powerful XML exception handling architecture.

The NetKernel microkernel v2.2 is updated to support hot module deployment, hot restart, load management, runtime kernel reconfiguration as well as memory and performance optimisations.

The SE Dev Kit provides comprehensive documentation, trailmaps, demonstrations, developer wizards and tools.

I am sure that the latest (memory and performance optimisations) will be much needed, ;)
