XML & Web services: Proprietary pieces to Weblogic Workshop Web Services

  1. Proprietary pieces to Weblogic Workshop Web Services (2 messages)

Can anyone tell all of the proprietary pieces one would encounter when creating web services using Weblogic Workshop? e.g, jws, jcx, callbacks?

I'm familiar with building web services using Axis, but since the client has WebLogic, I'm looking into developing with Workshop in order to simplify things for the developers and for deployment.

The same question could be asked for developing session beans if anyone cares to answer.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Are you planning to implement synchronous or asynchronous Web services?

  3. Yet to be determined. Initially, probably synchronous, but we may need asynchronous. Probably some of both.
