EJB design: J2EE code generation using XSLT

  1. J2EE code generation using XSLT (1 messages)

I have been using J2EE to implement multi-tier client server solutions for a few projects now and a fact I have noticed increasingly over the course of my projects is the amount of re-use possible in implementing such solutions.

The increasing use and availability of J2EE design patterns also create more scope for re-use. In fact, if I think about it, a good percentage of code I have written in J2EE deals with transportation of an entity’s data from the web to a database. And this fact set me thinking – is it not possible to implement a sort of backbone over which this data could be transported to the database?
