I got a special case in wich i'd like to pass a local interface as a paramtere for a ejbCreate() method, is that ok? Is this a violaion of any good practice?
Usually i go with DTOs... by in this case i'd like just a local inteface.
Thanks,

Obviously this particular EJB ( with ejbCreate(localInterface) ) is local as well. ?
I am not sure about the situation you wanted to pass in local reference. You could pass a local reference, but only that both are local components.
Why can't you pass in the primary key of the local ejb and then inside ejbCreate() do a look up and get the bean. Not good?
