EJB design: Invalid MBeanType

    Hi,
    I have installed Weblogic 8.1 and created a new domain. When I start the server I get the exception
    Exception raised: 'weblogic.management.configuration.ConfigurationException: Invalid MBeanType: ApplicationConfiguration'

    Can someone pls help me.

    hi,
       
       Generally this exception is raised by weblogic only bcoz of classpath. It may be the reason in your case, pls check the classpath.

    I have checked the classpath... weblogic.jar is already present in the classpath. Is any other jar needed as part of the server startup???
