Hey Majic,
A Framework can be defined as an Extensible set of APIs and specs, that need to be customized/Extended and Implemented as per the particular requirements before use.
Frameworks prevent us from indulging in developing an application which is tightly coupled with its implementation, future changes if require will be more easier if we are following some framework, as Frameworks can be easily extended.
