                   can any sugggest me a good java gannt chart which is free and easy to use.

    Afridi,

    I was looking recently at jFreeChart ( http://www.jfree.org ). I haven't yet used it but the project looks very well established and the demo is very impressive. Its main page mentions Gantt charts specifically.

    One of the things I liked about jFreeChart that there is a companion project (Cewolf - http://cewolf.sourceforge.net) which allows JFreeChart output to be easily integrated into servlets and JSPs (It has a nice tag library too.)
