    Hi,

    I am currently experiencing gradual thread build ups when using Sun ONE 6.5. We have been advised by Sun to move to SJS 7.1 to solve this issue.

    Has anyone else experienced thread build ups on this platform which usually result in having to restart the application server as it has hung? If so, can you tell me what you did to resolve the issue?

    What is the meaning of 'build up' ?

    Do you mean that a thread gets hung up ? Maybe a deadlock? Have you tried to send the signal name 'SIGQUIT' (kill -3 <pid> ?
