XML & Web services: PowerBuilder Objects: CORBA or Webservices?

I need to acces PowerBuilder bussiness logic deployed as NVO (Non visual Objects, kind of PowerBuilder EJBs) on an EAServer (Sybase App Server) from different clients with different architecture (PowerBuilder,J2EE,.NET).
What should be the best way to access them?
Should I go for classic CORBA Stub/Skeleton approach or try some ultramodern XML/SOAP webservices approach?
Is webservices already a solid and reliable technology? Will it last for some time? (5 years)
Thanks in advance.
