TSSS is definitely one of the better conferences. You can drink beer during the sessions and hang out with Pat Benitar at the Imperial Palace afterwards. ;-)

I'm very honored to have been invited to present a couple of sessions at TSSJS. I'm really looking forward to the event and am very anxious to meet other speakers that I currently only know through email and blogs. Thanks for what looks to be another nice conference!

Maybe from the US. Vegas is not great to get to from Europe. Only Virgin flies direct even from the UK, and it can be a long trip from elsewhere.

A hint: if you're travelling from Europe, try to book early. It can make a big difference to the airfare. In my experience, booking early results in getting a pretty good price, compared to anywhere else in the US. Book late, and with only one direct carrier you could be in trouble.

I attended the second one (couldn't make last year) and it is worth it. Just the quality of people presenting and attending rock.

Also worth noting there are cheaper hotels on Strip (I stayed at the Flamingo) and budget airlines like Southwest fly into Vegas.

I drove to the first conference near Boston. I flew to the second in Vegas and did not attend the third. I am annoyed at the organizers for refusing to alternate between coasts every year. Organizers: why always Vegas? It's not cheaper and sometimes the company doesn't pay.
