Been a reader on TSS for some time now, generally enjoy the information and community.

However, does anyone else find the Flash ad for the Java Symposium annoying and unprofessional? I saw the ad, I can't go, I don't need it to irritate its way into my conciousness any further.

The popup was the icing on the cake, if the cake were made out of something really distasteful.

I usually run a Flash blocker, and this is the first Flash I've seen on the site, but just signalling that IMO this ia bad road to go down for a site of this type.
