Poseidon for UML 4.0 has been released. This incorporates more of the UML 2 specification in an intelligent way. Poseidon implements not only the UML 2 rendering but also the logic behind the drawing, resulting in a more meaningful model. Elements can only appear in legal representations, which simplifies the interface and ensures model correctness by presenting only the relevant options.
A free evaluation of Poseidon for UML version 4.0 is available.
Activity Diagrams are an essential part of the modeling process, capturing the behavior of the system by mapping the sequence and decision paths of activities. Poseidon for UML version 4.0 implements the richer notation of UML 2 Activity diagrams; for example, a differentiation between the flow of control and the flow of objects and data. Also included are items such as pins and signal and event actions.
Flash viewlets and screenshots are also available to provide a guided tour through Poseidon for UML.
