Mevenide 2 for Netbeans 5 (currently still in beta) has been released for download. As the documentation shows, it allows developers to open Maven2 projects in the IDE directly, helps with writing the Maven project files, for example. A Continuum integration server plugin is also included, currently providing the ability to list projects on the server and force rebuilds.

Mevenide has plugins available for Eclipse, JBuilder, and IDEA as well.

  2. sequence diagram for maven?[ Go to top ]

Anyone know of a tool that can generate sequence and dependency diagrams for maven? I thought about writing a plugin to do that for me, but I don't have enough freetime.

No news of a Mevenide 2. However, a company called Mergere are developing an Eclipse IDE plugin replacement which has quietly been linked from the Maven sidebar.

It's at version 0.03 and provides dependency and source path editing.

A flash demo is available on the above link (only seems to work on IE).
