Hi,
I am trying to install DB2 on linux from the local folder in the file system When I run the db2setup command as teh root ./db2setup I am getting the errors and the installation setup wizard is not starting at all.
Can anyone help me how can I install DB2 having the package in the local folder and not the CD-ROM. Do I still need to mount the local folder.
thanks

Yes u will get error if u do like this-u dont ve to jsut copy the data of the CD to the Hard drive ,rather,
Make a ISO image of ur CD and put it on ur Hard Drive and then only run ur setup.
