I'm auditing a weblogic based batch application
making heavy use of entity EJBs. Entity caches
are configured to high values (210000 total for
the application) : this does not fit in memory
and worse there's still a lot of EJB passivation/
In short the cache blows the memory but is useless
as the data seems to be accessed mostly in read mode
and many objects are created.
I'd like to simply deactivate the weblogic cache
for these entity beans, but could not find
a way in the bea docs to do it. Maybe just
set the cache sizes to 0?
Any help is welcome,
