XINS is an open source Web Services development framework. XINS offers the possibility to create and deploy an API that accepts protocols as SOAP, XML-RPC and REST (default).

From the simple XML specifications, XINS generates the WSDL, the HTML documentation, the OpenDocument, the client-side code, the server-side template, the JUnit tests, the stub implementation and the test forms.

This new release adds generation of the specifications in OpenDocument format, unicode support, automatic detection of the calling convention, asynchronous package to call the API asynchronously, bootstrap properties, possibility to add files (e.g. HTML) to the WAR file, improved logging and performance and much more.

For more information, visit the XINS home page, read the primer or the user guide or have a look at the demo page.
