  1. Biptk is an eclipse based toolkit running on Linux that helps developers and performance specialists exploit bytecode instrumentation for the purpose of profiling Java applications. BIPTK includes a library for generating profiling traces, an Eclipse plug-in GUI for visualizing the traces, and some working examples of instrumenting code with Eclipse TPTP Probekit.

    I wonder how it compares to the Netbeans 5.0 profiler. I've found it to be quite nice myself.
