Dion Almaer interviewed Vincent Massol during JavaPolis, where Vincent offered more information on the status, philosophy and strengths of Maven 2.0, including questions such as "What were the shortcomings in Maven 1 and how do we now write maven 2 plugins?" Unfortunately, not that I know of. It's a controlled-access url, via Confluence. -

Unfortunately, not that I know of. It's a controlled-access url, via Confluence.
There is an MP3 version linked from the home page:

The video has no transcript, so you'd only miss out on Vincent waving his arms around for 30 minutes by listening instead :)
It's a reasonable interview, though some information is outdated given it is now 4 months old.
