Looking for some advice on this topic. I have been a J2EE developer for 4yrs and thinking about going into the financial space cos they make a lot of money. After a lot of research I also realize that programmers in this field work really long hours and are treated badly in general.
As far as my career in general where should i be aiming and aspiring to be at to make the most. I know a lot of people recomend management.

I work in a financial institution and all I can say is that all is good. It pays well and I get to do things I love.
