Hi all, I'm accessing a EJB 3 Session Bean on JBoss 4.0.4GA via its Remote Interface in an Java 5-Client. When running the client on the console, everything works fine, so the implementation and packaging is correct. But when I try to run the client within Java Web Start, I get the following error java.lang.ClassCastException: $Proxy0 pointing at this line: MyRemote mbr = (MyRemote) context.lookup("MyBean/remote"); I'm not really familiar with RMI within EJB3/Java5, but I think that the Proxy-Object is generated automatically. I'm wondering why this mechanism is broken when running the client inside Web Start. Does anybody have an idea? Where can I have a look to solve that problem? Thank you for your help. Kai
