  1. JavaPolis 2007 Theme announced: Star Wars meets JavaPolis (5 messages)

    Stephan Jannsen sent in the announcement that the JavaPolis theme for 2007 has been announced: three Java-influenced characters vie for ... well... the strings. The poster, to be mailed to all JavaPolis attendees, not only has Java influence, but some other kinds of influence as well... It'll be interesting to see where exactly the Star Wars influences fit in. I don't seem to remember Hashes (or their homonyms) in Star Wars, nor do I remember undergarments except possibly in Return of the Jedi... but this is always an entertaining and original show, so we'll be watching. (And what does Duke get to hold?)

    It must be me - but I think Jawa the Hut looks a lot like James Gosling, especially in that T-shirt ;-)
