Hi there!
Has anybody done a "Load-Testing" on some EJB application ?
How do u go about it and what are the tools used ?
I somehow feel that EJB architecture is slower than other existing "proprietary" architectures.
A neatly designed web-based EJB application would have about 5 layers and each layer is independently maintained.
Doesn't that affect speed, response time etc when compared to existing architectures (like our indispensable Microsoft!) ? (Assuming that we generally work on Windows-based machines on the client side..)
Any quantitative data available to support/contradict this argument ?
Bouquets and brickbats welcome!!
Kiran.
