Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and develop services using frontend programming APIs, like JAX-WS. These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP, JMS or JBI. The ASF board has just approved its graduation which means that the project is now fully endorsed by the ASF. Development of the next major version (2.1) is mostly complete and should be available soon. The major new features of 2.1 are full JAX-WS 2.1 compliance (CXF 2.0 is JAX-WS 2.0 compliant) and new JAX-RS support, CORBA support, enhanced javascript support, and much more.Threaded Messages (7)

Congratulations! Few people understand how hard this is and what an accomplishment it is. Well done! Looking forward to dropping the incubator repo from our repo list ;-) -

Cool! The large variety of demo examples is quite impressive. However, I did not see an example to access a publicly available WSDL on the internet. I have created a demo to access a publicly available WSDL: http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/tempconvert.asmx?WSDL at: http://nsenthil.blogspot.com/2008/04/apachecxfmoredemo.html -Nalla -
