I need to use real-time application timers in a J2EE env.
Any idea how to use timers with time intervals of less than a minute?
Although extremely icky, you could always revert to the old way of having an app-client start of an java.util.Timer/TimerTask. Just remember I said it was icky :)
We have a client server system and set up a StringBuffer and write text to the buffer, (along with elapsed time) and dump it, after we return the request to the client. We can then figure our MilliSecond breakdowns of various events.
