I'd be curious to know why you think Java and MySql are in "safe hands" ... b/c I just don't see it. -

java, Yes MySQL, No. Netbeans - unsure I am yet to see what happens to the java community (the largest software ecosystem/community in the world). It is time to begin trying my projects on JDeveloperCongratulations to Sun and Oracle! The future is in safe hands :).
