I am not clear as to how ejb relationships could be used. Do the relationships have to be explicitly set before being used e.g. if there is a relationship between customer and orders, and some client wants to use getCustomer on an order ? If so, would this mean looking up a home object of a bean, then executing a finder on it, and then calling the method setCustomer(customer), e.g. when the order was created ? It says in the specification that the responsibility to locate homes and execute finders is shifted to the persistence manager. What does this mean ?
any insight would be appreciated.
