News: Sculptor 1.7 in the Cloud

  1. Sculptor 1.7 in the Cloud (1 messages)

One feature of Sculptor 1.7 is the new support for Google App Engine. Sculptor provides a maven archetype for jump starting the development of a Spring 3.0 based application with RESTful Spring Controllers. The domain model is defined in a textual DSL, from which Sculptor generates high quality Java code and configuration. Sculptor generates JPA annotations for the domain objects and takes App Engine datastore (BigTable) limitations into account. It's just in time. I was trying to use Spring2&JPA UML cartridges to do the same. Seems like now it will be really simple with Sculptor! Thank you!
