    We are trying to develop some components using SUN's design patterns for J2EE. What's business Delegate pattern for? When we can use that? Is any sample code avaialble for the same?

    Hi,
    Actually business delegates decouples presentation and service tiers, and provides a facade and proxy interface to the services. Simply we can say it is like a shared classes between the clients and the EJB components.If u want give your mail-id i'll email to you some code examples.

    Does that mean that the delegate handles lookup of the EJBs.
    Also, where does it reside? In the EJB-jar along with the
    EJB or inside the WAR file.
