The TIOBE Programming Community Index does a monthly update on which programming languages are getting the most play in search indexes like Google and Yahoo.

Although it may not be as scientifically accurate as a double-blind statistical experiment, it has been providing fairly consistent results for the last three or four years. And for the first time in that timeframe, Java falls into the second position in the popularity category. 

Is it cause for concern, or just a statistically insignificant blip?
