XINS 2.3 has been released.

XINS is an Open Source Web Services Framework that support REST, SOAP, JSON-RPC and more.It is based on contract first, so that from the specification of the API, code and documentation can be generated.


What's new in 2.3:

  • Integration with Google App Engine: Easily deploy your web services in GAE
  • Support for Ant 1.8 and IPv6.
  • New create-project target
  • Several bug fixes and small enhancements

This is also the last release with support for Java 1.4, the project is moving to Java 5 and higher.
