               How can I make my java program run as a Windows NT Service?

  2. To do this you can use the executable shipped with Microsoft
    SDK - jntsvc. Basically, what you do is implement a class that subclasses com.ms.service.Service. Compile this class using the microsoft compiler. Take the .class file and jnstvc over it. This will give you an executable that can be installed as a service by typing <Java Class Name>.exe /install.
