I am trying to connect and send data from/to a c++ application on another server. As this should be as fast as possible and allot of data will be sent, I have moved away from my original idea of using CORBA and instead use a TCP-socket connection (preferably two connections, one for sending and one for receiving).
Since this is a J2EE server (running on glassfish) I have come under the impression that you should use a JCA-connector, since writing a socket-connection directly inside the ejb-container is discouraged. Could someone verify this?
And if this is the correct solution, is there anything special I should consider?
