Hi,
I want to creat the report in JAVA which should be in Excel format. Pl let me know how it can be done in JAVA and is there any standard tools available?

Don't know of any Java classes to manipulate Excel files.
If you only need to do simple stuff, then what you need is to write out CSV files which Excel will happily read. Writing those is pretty simple (though not as simple as you might think.)

Inetsoft has Style Report. The Enterprise Edition does provide the ability to export a report to Excel format.
