  1. datasource error: (3 messages)

    Hi there,
       I am using wl5.1 and oracl 8i. My BMP is deployed and i database setup in the weblogic.properties is as follows:
         weblogic.jdbc.connectionPool.demoPool=\
           url=jdbc:weblogic:oracle,\
           driver=weblogic.jdbc.oci.Driver,\
           loginDelaySecs=0,\
           initialCapacity=4,\
           maxCapacity=10,\
           capacityIncrement=2,\
          allowShrinking=true,\
          shrinkPeriodMins=15,\
          refreshMinutes=10,\
           props=user=SYSTEM;password=manager;server=;

    but while starting the server i am getting the following error which is showing that table or view doesn't exist

  3. datasource error:[ Go to top ]

    Hi Francis,

    But what if my database server resides elsewhere and i use a reference like "icoffee" in my tnsnames.ora file to refer to that remote server. i should mention something towards server name. right? my weblogic.properties entry look like:

    weblogic.jdbc.connectionPool.demoPool=\
           url=jdbc:weblogic:oracle,\
           driver=weblogic.jdbc.oci.Driver,\
           loginDelaySecs=1,\
           initialCapacity=4,\
           maxCapacity=10,\
           capacityIncrement=2,\
           allowShrinking=true,\
           shrinkPeriodMins=15,\
           refreshMinutes=10,\
           testTable=dual,\
           props=user=iplanet;password=iplanet6;server=icoffee

    please help me out.

    thanks and regards.

  4. datasource error:[ Go to top ]

    Are you using JMS within weblogic?

    I'm not quite sure how JMS works, but I assume it requires a table to store permanent 'queues'. From the log, it would look as though either the table does not exists, or the permissions are not correct to the table.

    If you're not using JMS, comment the JMS entries out of the weblogic.properties file.

    The actual JDBC connection pool seems to have initialised correctly.

    Cheers,
    Rick
