After reading Ed Roman's chapter 13 (EJB best practices and performance optimizations), I am curious about a statement he made concerning the performance tuning of Entity Beans.
Using the session bean facade, "You should always call entity beans through their local interfaces". How is this done? I thought that even if beans are using each other in the same process, that they had to use each other's remote interfaces.
Thanks for any clarification on this.
