Have a look at Microsoft's Web Application Stress Tool at http://webtool.rte.microsoft.com/ . It's free (*wonder*) and provides a lot of features. -

Look at Apache JMeter (http://java.apache.org/). It's free simple HTTP testing tool written in pure Java. -
