For Java developers, what warms our hearts the most about this release is that it's Java EE 6 certified and ready. But from a promotional standpoint, you can tell that the thing that Oracle is most excited about is the extended Cloud support that is nested inside of their new application server. The much touted "Traffic Director", built on top of WebLogic, Coherence and Tuxedo offerings, make up the basis of Oracle's Cloud Application Foundry; an approach that Oracle hopes will put them ahead of their competitors who are also competing with cloud based offerings.
