In the first early access build of JXInsight/OpenCore 6.4 "ACE" we have added a powerful activity metering extension which adaptive controls the concurrent execution of software for the purpose of throughput optimization using using various flavors of local search (optimization) including hill climbing, reactive search optimization (RSO) and tabu search. In this article I walk through a series of micro test cases showing the effectiveness of this approach to optimizing a goal such as throughput.
